broadcast control rooms
Run-of-show software for broadcast control rooms — built for the GO call.
CueHound is the run-of-show, teleprompter, and cue-dispatch platform for broadcast TV news, sports, and live entertainment control rooms in the United States. Real-time collaborative rundowns with front-time and back-time, a native iOS and Android teleprompter with voice-paced auto-scroll, and a deterministic cue engine that fires OSC, MIDI MSC, OBS WebSocket, and vMix TCP straight from the producer's rundown — with hardware GO via Bitfocus Companion as the always-on fallback.
problems we hear
What broadcast crews tell us — and what CueHound does about it.
"Your rundown lives in iNews / ENPS but your CG and switcher don't read MOS."
CueHound exports MOS-shape CSV in both directions and supports Companion-mediated triggers for TriCaster, XPression, Chyron, and ATEM today; a direct MOS bridge ships in v2.
"The talent's iPad prompter and the producer's rundown drift out of sync mid-show."
Live rundown edits stream to the talent's prompter in under 200ms via the same Yjs CRDT path the producer uses. Voice-paced auto-scroll keeps the read aligned to actual delivery.
"When a segment overruns, the EP rewrites timings on the fly — and the prompter, lower-thirds, and ad pod all need to follow."
The AI Pacing Copilot detects the drift, proposes a concrete reflow as a diff card (cut segment X, compress segment Y by 90s), and one tap reflows the rundown, prompter, and cue times together. AI never fires cues.
"Venue Wi-Fi drops and the producer's cloud tool stops working in the middle of a live show."
The local Show Engine remains authoritative. Cues keep firing on time from the SQLite truth store, the prompter keeps scrolling, and the audit log queues locally. When the connection returns, everything reconciles via Yjs.
built for the broadcast workflow
What you actually get.
Front-time / back-time / total-time display
Standard broadcast timing model — front-time and back-time auto-compute as segments edit. Show-clock countdown in the Show Caller surface uses the same JetBrains Mono 144px hero clock.
Show Caller fullscreen mode
Single-hand show calling. Space-bar GO, S = standby, M = message-to-talent. Stream Deck hardware GO via Companion always available. ACTIVE / NEXT cards readable across a control room.
Immutable signed audit log
Every cue dispatch is HMAC-SHA-256 chained and signed. A producer or compliance reviewer can verify exactly which human accepted which cue, when, and against which Pacing Copilot proposal.
