Cookie Policy

This policy covers cuehound.com and the CueHound app at app.cuehound.com, both run by Toronado Entertainment, LLC. We use no advertising or tracking cookies on either. We do not currently run page-view analytics on the website, and the app uses no analytics.

cuehound.com

The website does not set any cookies. It loads no third-party scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, receives your IP address, browser details and the page you visited in order to deliver it. Our fonts are served from our own site. The free web teleprompter keeps your script only in the open browser tab. By default it does not save it to cookies or browser storage, so it is gone when you close or reload the page. If you turn on “Remember on this device”, it saves your script and settings in your browser’s local storage (key cuehound-teleprompter-v1) until you turn the option off or press “Forget”. This is a choice you make; it is never sent to us and is not used for tracking. If you use the Dark/Light switch at the bottom of the site, your browser remembers that choice in local storage (key cuehound-theme). It is never sent to us.

The CueHound app

The app uses only what it needs to sign you in and work. Because these are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent to them, but you can clear them at any time in your browser (you will be signed out).

Sign-in cookies (names start with cuehound.) — keep you signed in. They are set for cuehound.com and its subdomains so the app and our API both recognise you, and they expire when your session ends, 7 days after you last use the app.
Selected workspace (browser storage, cuehound.currentOrg) — remembers which workspace you last opened. It stays until you clear it.
Error reporting (browser storage for the current tab only, names start with cuehound.) — a random ID that groups error reports from one tab, and a timestamp that stops the app reloading itself more than once after an update. Both are cleared when you close the tab.

If this changes

If we add any cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
